The Great State of TEXAS is my home. I live in the East Texas Piney Woods. I have traveled all over the world and I have never been anywhere that could compare to the place I was born, raised, and live.

Yes, I have been to Texas. I rode through Texas on a road trip from North Carolina to California one summer.
We stopped In El Paso at the top of this hill overlooking the city lights. It was one of the prettiest sights I've seen.

Yes I stayed in San Antonio I went to a whole bunch of military museums and the Alamo. I drove to Corpus Christi and went on a decommissioned aircraft carrier. I drove to Waco to the Texas rangers museum (police not baseball). I really enjoyed the trip.

Yes, I used to live there when I was a kid. I live in Michigan now. We lived in Liverpool and that is near Alvin down below Galveston, TX. I was between the ages of 3 and 8 when I lived there. I remember alot about it. The smell of Gardenia and Honeysuckle. All the snakes, spiders, mosquitoes, armadillos, frogs, fire ants, and roaches. I remember my school was very nice - carpeted and air conditioned. I remember the flood and the hurricane that came through one time... I have too many memories to mention.
I think of Tx fondly.

No, I haven't . I've never been to the States. They say everything is bigger in Texas, but I don't know what that means.
