How do you make a bed when there is a down feather bed on the mattress?

Do you put the fitted sheet over the feather bed? Or do you just cover the mattress with the sheet and put the feather bed on top?

Put the fitted sheet on top of the feather bed. But a word of advice I had a feather bed and like all feather beds the feathers tend to work their way out and can poke you whil sleeping. So I recommend getting a padded mattress pad. Put your feaher bed on top of your mattress, then mattress pad, then fitted sheet. this will help keep feathers down while adding extra softness.
