racism is still very prevalent in the world, we act like things are just gonna go away if we dont address the problem...we are a society in denial..when are we gonna appreciate other cultures and live in harmony?...you ask what can you do?...you can not change other people's views on racism but you can work on yourself...be nice to everyone..be blind to the color of the skin..take people for whats in their hearts not for skin color...when we can live in peace and harmony and not be judged on where we come from then we can move forward in this world ...do you agree with me ? Everyone is the same but different and we need to overlook the boundaries and not take people for skin deep.. there is more that meets the eye and everyone deserves a chance to be accepted in this world....

yes it is.it's in the media bigtime but one thing that i know is that we are very much diffrent .white people some how live more in a hollywood world. As black folks so to speek take things more serious it's somethings that white people don't understand.like in the terrell owns thing white people didn't understand when he called donoven a uncle tom thay commented on it without understanding why he said what he said.you see white people are more hungry for the fine'er thing's in life that thay will do anything to get the money an most importingly the spotlight.greed blind's there eyes so much that thay will do what ever it take's.the white race has killed more people then any other race on the planet.thay have so much power that thay don't take time to understand other race's.white people have all the power but thay are ass end backward's with it. until white people start to take the time to learn and treat other races the same as thay treat themself's it will allways be a race problem.until the day when black poeple can look at white people and say" it's a black thing "and the white people anwser's back" ya and i do understand "Then the race problem will allways be here.p.s in case the white people that are football fans don't understand what i ment when i said that black people understood why ''TO"called donoven mcnabb an uncle tom here's why .he invited "TO'' over to his house hung out with the man making him feel like he was walcome. In the black race that's called "showing love"so the brother feel's like this man has my back.now here is the thing donoven is the face of the team he is a man in a position of power when "TO"felt he was under paid he was thinking well donoven could have went to the ownner and said something in his behalf.yet the whitepeople by not understanding why he said these word's painted him as an asshole but black people know why he said it.one race know and one race didnt .then the network's go'es out and enterveiw rich black former players to get there thought's thay then ether had no coment or gave the awnser the white man wanted to here.thaywere afraid to be themselfs. this is the type of world the white man has the other race's living in its all about politics and geed.so to answer your qustion hell ya it's still racism more so now then ever the whiteman just has fiqued a slicker way to hide it.so it's up to the white man it won't get fix until thay want it fixed.

Racisim is still a major problem in different areas. I live in California so every one here is not really trying to be racists in your face but, If you live out of Cali, then racism is thrown in your face! The best approach is prayer and slience. "Silence is Golden" because who ever is throwing racists signs are remarks will eventually look ignorant. "You can't argue by yourself" so eventually you'll shut up. It will probably never be solved because it depends on the family thats telling there kids about racists things. They grew up doing it to people and so know there teaching there kids that horrible stuff. We have to start with ourselfs for it to be solved!!

In some places it is. I feel if we would stop calling each other by a color, i.e black man, white man, it would eventually erase the problem. A man is a man. A woman is a woman. A child is a child. Stop labeling anyone - black or white - with a color. Good Lord!! We're all pink beneath our skin!! And there's certainly enough love in the world to embrace and befriend everyone. The only race any of us belong to is the HUMAN RACE!!

Yes, it is still a big problem. It starts with parents acting as a bad example to their children who grow up to be racists. Therefore, we need to teach children very young what is wrong, even if the parents haven't learned yet. I believe racist people are insecure and have to look for someone they think if "weaker" or "less than" to pick on so they will feel better.

Yes, racism is still a major problem. And to combat this, we have to educate the younger generation on the evils of racism.
