Why does my girlfriend seem so obsessed with getting breast implants?

I tell her all the time she doesnt need them, She is a very beautiful young woman, But she dont listen to me!

To be able to take off your bra at the end of the day, and enjoy those lovely set of **** on your chest (unlike taking off the padded bra and being sad about what nature DIDN't give you). The look, the feel.. how people enjoy them is nice as well.. It's really just about looking as you feel you need/want to look.

When you are unsatisfied with a certain part of your appearance for many years, then find that there is a solution to that problem, it's like magic, now having the oportunity to fix it.

it sounds like she may not be satisfied with her own body no matter how you feel about it, unfortunately. Keep telling her how you feel and why, be very clear why. If she doesn't change her mind on the implants just make sure she really looks into her choices and that she asks herself why she is really wanting the implants.

Because she is not happy with the way she looks, a issue many young women and even older women suffer from. Lack of self esteem and the belief that breasts make them more appealing and more of a women. Hope fully she will come to the realization that character is what really counts. God bless

Have you seen women's magazines? Advertising? Do you have any idea how bombarded we are are by images of the perfect body, the one that can't actually be achieved?

Pick up a girlie magazines one of these days and flip through it. Three-quarters of the the mags are dedicated to advertising or "tips" on how to make yourself look better with make-up, hairstyles, and clothing. Like there's something wrong with the way they look now. The rest of it is chock full of ways to hook and keep a guy (you) and how celebs live their lives and look the way they do.

A woman's self-worth is supposed to be tied into how she looks. It's in our culture.

She won't believe you. You can try casually remarking about how hot specific small-chested celebrities are, if she's self-confident enough to hear you appreciate other women, but mind-games never get you anywhere but trouble.

You've got to reach out to your girlfriend, and explain to her that men don't really like big fake boobs. It's just marketing hype. This is important to her future, her health, and her understanding of herself. Would you be more attractive if you drove a rocket powered car to work everyday?

The idea that our society encourages women to mutilate themselves lowers my testosterone levels. Makes me think I live in certain parts of Islamic Africa, where it's expected to mutilate women.

You must find a way to assure her of the simple fact that a woman's attitude, personality and sensuality make her attractive. The sexiest women do it without augmentation. Because sexuality and attractiveness are mental, not physical.

And tell her you don't like scars or jell-filled bags on your women.

More often than not, it is the woman that wants the implants over the protestations of her b/f husband...
I suppose this is because she developed this larger breast body image before she met the b/f husband .....

She could want her breast reduction for many reasons. To look better and weight of them will make her even feel better after reduction. She only needs to find a good doctor that speciaizes in this field. There have been many sucessful breast reduction.

Maybe she sees an imperfection that you don't see and that's why she says that she wants implants. Or maybe she just likes getting cut open and filled with silicon. Just keep ensuring her that she's beautiful. . .Sometimes we women just need to be told that we're perfect in our mans eyes.
