usually, people who are beauty conscious will have jabs on their butts, to prevent scarring from happening. I guess the nurse was trying to help you in that sense, by not leaving any scars where it is visible. So, don't worry about it too much. And about her comment, maybe she was trying to be friendly and trying to help bring your nerves down by saying something outrageous or funny. If you still feel uneasy about it, the next time you go for a jab, express your discomfort about having it done on your butt( if the nurse(s) suggest it again).. or bring your mom with you and tell her to stay with you during the process(at the same time ask your mom to tell the nurse(s) firmly about your concerns)...

If you are quite slender, it needs to go in a big enough muscle, and many times it will be given in upper part of your butt.
As for the thong remark, she was probably trying to get your mind off the shot. I wouldn't worry about it. If she had made a nasty remark, or insulted you, then that would have been inappropriate.

yes, you needed the shot in a muscle and the butt is the best place to do that especially if you are small and there isnt alot of muscle in your upper arm. She knew you were nervous, scared so she complimented your thong to ease the tension....

All these questions under all these names are all one person. You know the story about the little boy who cried wolf? One day a doctor or nurse may actually act inappropriately and molest you or something and nobody will be able to tell if your lying or telling the truth.
