I have just set up my own user name on my computer, and when I add contacts it doesnt work. it says for example "Jenista is not in your contact list. Click here to add her now." But it don't work?!?!. In my moms account all the contacts I have added work perfectly.
I've tryed everything! HELP!!

Then use moms account and change name.

Microsoft's Messenger essentially took over my computer, and at times would lock up everything. I had to turn it off; can't have those kinds of problems.
Yahoo Messenger, on the other hand, works perfectly, including chat, and notifies me when I have mail. Give Microsoft the thumbs down, and make the switch.

maybe you should get a new email and email all your contacts to add you on that one and see what happens
