Currently I'm using

overflow:auto;

and the text is overflowing horizontally, making a scrollbar along the bottom of the box, but I want it to overflow vertically instead. How can I do this? 10 points for the first useful answer. Thanks.

A horizontal scrollbar is not due to text overflow, but to some element or combination of elements on the page being wider than the screen. If you eliminate that situation, the horizontal scroll bar should disappear.
