If I can't speak my mind, or answer honestly, I choose not to answer the question.

Not from fear, sometimes from modesty (in modesty).

What is the "real answer"? The real answer as I consider it is the one I post. Prior to post it is provisional & subject to change, before even that, there are just thoughts.

I never hold back what I say about answering peoples questions. If we are here to give advice then we shouldn't be scared or supericial about what we have to say. I agree that there are some bad apples in here that give total idiotic answers but, on the real deal, I give honest answers. They might hurt but they're honest and true.

Sometimes...it is modesty, but only for certain questions. I also try to protect my privacy as much as possible. But in 360...that's a different story ;)

Ironically, Yes I do. The funny thing is that this is pretty much anonymous. I guess I have always felt not to put my full opinion out there in fear of rejection.

No, I don't, and it seems the more honest I am, with some questions, the more thumbs down ratings I get.
Sometimes, I feel this place is a one huge popularity contest, where people's feelings don't matter at all.

No, this is a place to be as real as you want to be. Why answer a question if you're going to hold back? Pointless.

The only time I hold back is when I know my answer is going to seriously insult someone, and just piss them off.

haha I thought about asking this question today but you beat me to it! And yes, I actually have lied on here once, but it was something dumb just so I could get two points.
