This is a great flick! Kathy Bates is a real charmer, eh? I dig the part where she runs around the room and is snorting like a pig. She names her pet pig Misery, after the character in the books James Caan writes about in the movie. This was a fun movie. Also good- the end, when he imagines the waitress coming toward him is her and then the chick asks for his autograph! Also, if you liked this movie, I reccomend "Dolores Claiborne" also based on a King story and also with Bates in the lead role.

Kathy Bates is an awesome actress, but I read the book first. Needless to say I was totally let down by the movie. They can't compare with his books. " IT" was also a good movie. It was close to the book. I love Stephen King's books.

Yes, Kathy Bates is the creepiest "Biggest Fan Ever". Makes you look at every next door neighboor/wouldn't notice them in a crowd person a little bit harder. Gives the whole "Good Samaritan" story a new twist, now doesn't it?
Poor James Caan

Yes, it was on one of the cable stations this afternoon. I haven't seen it in many years, but I watched it today. James Caan is so good in that movie, and Kathy Bates gives me the creeps. I think I still have goose bumps!!! Awesome movie (and book!)!

I've seen it upwards of a dozen times, but I have yet to actually watch the hobbling scene, I can't keep myself from turning away when she does it.
Kathy Bates plays a psycho quite well.
Great movie.

Yes, and it was down right creepy. UGH!. I think, however, that Kathy Bates did a great job in the acting. The guy she was so mean to did great justice to her at the end. WOW !!!

Yes and I love it. The only part I cant watch is when she beats his legs and feet. That was horrible. I read the book so I was kinda prepared as to what to expect, but reading it and seeing it don't compare.
