From 7 in the morning to 8 in the evening, I am there for my family. After 8 o'clock, that is my time. if the dishes are not done, or laundry, or the such, they will wait til morning. I have done that for years, and it has always worked for me.

right now that's all i have time to do. I am recovering from surgery. So far I have been catching up on myself for the past 4 months.
The sad thing is, is that I found out I really dont like myself to much!! ha ha

it is the only way to ensure that you get it. You will always be able to find something to fill the time. And laundry does not count as "me" time. Whether it's just going to Barnes & Noble with a starbucks to get a good book or taking a long bath with extra bubbles, you always have to make sure that you have to time to unwind, think about the decisions you've made that day...the mistakes...the people that you didnt get to and the things you wish you could've done better. Me time stimulates self-growth...so make sure that you always have time to toast for yourself...

Absolutely! I "find myself" whenever I am a passenger in a car on a long trip (staring out the window) or at home listening to music.

Sounds like a good idea. I don't have much time for myself.
