My husband is reading The Night Gardener by George Pelecanos right now.
Other "nerdy" books include Neil Gaiman and Harry Potter (if you're an adult).

anyway, why does everybody assume that "nerdy" people read VCR manuals and stuff like that for fun? Are only nerdy people allowed to read science fiction? I hate stereotyping!
