In the spring, clocks go forward
In the fall, clocks go back
Remember Spring forward, Fall back.
So today at 2am, the clocks go back.
So it'll be 1am then 1:59am then 1am

clocks only go one direction, generaly speaking it's clockwise (Forward), unless modified to go counterclockwise (backward). the rule of daylight savings has already been given by the other answers. 1st sunday in april spring forward, last sunday in October, fall back.
I prefer, as Bob Segar says, "Up with the Sun, down with the moon".

The clock go 1 hour back at 2 a.m. on Sunday morning. Your best bet is to turn them back before you go to sleep on Saturday, so when you wake up on Sunday, you'll be waking up to correct time.
