Officially "pick up" is considered to be a compound verb and should go together, however this really is a colloquial or slang expression, so it doesn't matter much. In a conversation, you'd be understood perfectly well either way. If what you have here is the complete sentence, like a command "Go, pick up Christian" or "I'm going to go pick up Christian", you'd find most people would say it with "pick up". If there's more to the sentence, like "I'm going to go pick Christian up from soccer practice." or "Go, pick Christian up at the airport", there's a better chance they'd split up the verb (... and "split up", by the way, is a similar compound verb).

Both ways would work. I prefer "go pick up Christan".

Old school says not to use a preposition at the end of a sentence. Sounds okay to me tho.
