I have had stitches after giving birth in April '05. Now that my exhubby and I aren't having sex I have began to see another man. Whenever I have sex with the other guy, the area of my stitches get red,, swollen,, and purely hurt. It hurts so bad that I have to gently pat the area dry instead of wiping like normall. I usually have to soak in a hot vingar bath to relieve the pain but here lately it isn't helping. Should I tell him he's too big or do I need to visit my DR to see if I need restitching?

Why on earth are you putting your own diagnosis down to:either a new lover's schlong being too big for you?. or You feel you may need RE-STITCHING?!? No woman needs or gets restitching after a year and a half after child birth. Probably you went for some time without nookie, and when you restart, things do get painful for a while. I definitely suggest you contact your OB-GNY AND go slower with your new man, and TELL him, maybe if he knows you suffer pain after sex, he will be slower, more gentle, thus avoiding so much irritation and burning afterwards, also sounds like you have a serious case of dry-boinking-It could be that you just need to have your new guy made aware of it, and ask him to use a lubricant (that may help ALOT, but wait before having sex again until your painful area gets cleared up, this way with proper lube you may solve your problem-But, I highlight the strong point of waiting until you have no more pain in that perennial area) Theres also female lubricants if you feel you don't want to tell him this and keep the problem unaware-You can buy it over the counter (either one male or female lube can be bought over the counter) Good luck
.................and if you are having sex with a married man, then you deserve Long Dong Silver's irritation.

This all depends on a number of factors. How long it's been since having sex with your last husband. How big he was versus how big your current man is. You could have an infection down there which is causing additional pain. Either way, I would consult with your OB-GYN and find out. It's possible you had a bad stitch job and need to be re-done. In the meantime, try using some mild lubricant during sex. I hope this helps!

You may want to chat with your doctor. It sounds like you've been stitched a bit too tight, sort of a born-again virgin. THe problem is it's scar tissue, so it won't tear easily, and yeah, it hurts. Your doc will be able to tell if you would benefit from having it cut a bit to relax it, if that's what you want.

Yea I d say go to the doctor and bring this to his attention. And with this guy I d recommend using some type of lube to prevent irritation and chafing that maybe from when you dry out during sex. Try a water based lube like KY. Put it in a spray bottle mix it with water, and spray it on when you think your drying out.

Go to the Doctor and get it checked out. Big or not...He shouldnt be irritating the site of the stitches to the point of swelling. Unless of course he huge....but you would know that better than anyone here.

I think you should see a doctor. It could be a number of things. Restitching, an STD, an infection. GO TO THE DOCTOR

YEAH IT COULD MEAN A NUMBER OF THINGS.... OTHER THEN THE ONES ALREADY MENTIONED I'D SAY TRY USING A LUBRICANT THAT CAN MAKE THINGS EASIER. AND OF COURSE SEE YOUR DR.
