if you are asking about the late great country musicc legend, johnny cash yes he paseed away lasy year after a long fith with diabetics, which left him blind at the end and in a whhel chairr, his suriving daughter, junne carter cash did a radio publiic service add, talking about her fathers final days and the dangers of diabetics and, said sadly thjat her dad was siting in his musicc library in his office in nashville after, diabetics robbed him of his eye sight and says what a shame as room full of memories, which has been turned into a museumm piece after the man in black, died. we wil trully mis him. one of a kind talent.

Yes Johnny Cash has passed away, he died in 2003 I will miss him I was and always will be a fan of his I grew up listing to his music and I even got to go see him when I was little, never got to meet him though. I have seen the movie Walk the Line it was very very good I want to own so I can watch anytime I want.

Johnny Cash died on Sept. 12, 2003 and his wife June died on May 15, 2003. They had been married for over 35 years. You have to see Walk The Line. You'll really like it.

I'm assuming you are talking about Johhny Cash, the country music star. Sadly, he died in 2003 from complications of diabetes. My guess is that when June, his wife, died, he lost the will to live and stopped fighting his illnesses. He was a wonderful musician and lived by his ideals--he is definitely missed.
