I accidentally left my cell phone in my pocket and put it in the wash. My friend had the same experience except he was pushed into the swimming pool. My friends say it takes around a month. If you had the same experience (I think you guys are smarter than me) how long did it take for your cell phone to work (if it worked again)? By the way, I have a Motorola RAZR V3m.

For me, (my phone also fell into a swimming pool) I used a blow dryer. It took a 2 days to start working again; I think the dryer speeded up the process.

My hubby dropped his cell in a mud puddle. He removed the back, took the battery out and let it dry out. Within a couple days it worked again.

Water is like acid to the PC board in a phone. They rarely work again.

take it apart as far as you are supposed to (battery, antenna, etc) and put a blow dryer to it and DO NOT try to turn it on for a few days of drying it or you will burn it up! good luck!
