I used to be a big-time Mel Gibson fan dating all the way back to his earliest films, so of course I was hugely disappointed by his recent Anti-Semitic slurs when he was pulled over for drunk driving.

We've all said stupid stuff in our lives that we later regret. What if no one was willing to forgive and forget?

On the other hand, what if Mel was really showing his true colors. If he really is that bigoted, then I wouldn't want to support his career any longer.

What do you all think? Are any of you planning to go see or to boycott his upcoming film, "Apocalypto"?

In wine there is truth. I think Mel showed his true colors. I am not planning on going to any more of his movies.

If I watch his new movie it will be based on whether the movie is good or not. Mel seems to be very sorry for what he said and I don't feel like he is only saying that to save his carreer. I really think he did not mean it... And besides, it is how he behaves on a daily basis which should be judged, not what he said one time during a stupid drunk moment.

I'm still laughing at the situation. What are all of these celebrities thinking? Tom Cruse for example. What a freak. Lol. Oh well. That's the price you pay for being in the public eye.

I like Mel Gibson and I would still see his movies and if they are good I will by the dvd. He is just a human that makes mistakes.

Well, I think that he just made a really bad choice. We all do. I hope that he will learn from his mistakes. I think that Mel Gibson is very talented, and I hope that he doesn't make that same mistake again.

I think what he said was disgusting. You could forgive what he said saying it was a "mistake" but look at the root of his mistake. he was downright drunk, which is a disgusting trait in itself. he has also been known to, in the past, deny that the holocaust ever happened. i will deffinately not support mel gibson's career in any way ever again.
