When I was in the military a few years ago, I was friends with Africans wherever I was stationed. But I found that if I went to Africa, I would never be allowed to live in Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia, or anywhere because I am "akata".

the actual reason why many africans dislike black americans is because in many places in africa you are judged by the language you speak and not the color of your skin (to a certain extent anyways-- clearly you can see where this would be wrong, but that's the way it used to be). also, countries in africa have absolutely no reason to trust an america-- black or white... look what happened with the back to africa movement and liberia.

maybe because you don't look african. I mean African-American is term used for Americans who come from African decent, but not 100% african....most African Americans don't resemble the everyday african...we don't have all of their features. don't be upset...their just hatin!!!
