Basically, WR are line up on each side of the field (left and right). There are only 5 offensive lineman on the field lineup in the middle so the rest on the field are eligible recievers (within expection to QB). The best reciever are lineup in the right, along with the TE. The second best reciever are lineup up on the left, along with the slot reciever (3rd WR). The RB and FB are lineup behind the QB and they are eligible recievers also once they pass the line of scrimmage (unless a pass play calls for all eligible recievers to lineup on the line of scrimmage). Off. Lineman will always stay in the middle, protecting the QB, but different plays change position for eligible WR (ex. best lineup on slot, 2nd on right, and so on). This applies for most of football. Hope this help.
