I screwed up on so many quizzes. Then I gave a really stupid presentation where I got all the answers wrong. I sounded like such a fool! Then I effed up on another quiz. Then I effed up on another quiz. I don't really talk in class because I'm afraid of sounding like an idiot.

I also have a crush on my teacher, which makes talking to her impossible, just so you know, I can't talk to her because I'm scared of her because I have a crush on her. That's why I'm afraid she thinks I'm stupid. I also act weird around her. I think I need therapy.

Of course the teacher thinks you're stupid. For school to be of any benefit to the students, you have to know less than the teacher. If you were as smart as the teacher, going to school would be a complete waste of time. Just listen to what the teacher says, and learn everything you can from that teacher. Then you'll feel smarter, and you can go on and learn from some other teacher that is even smarter than this teacher.

Feeling stupid at school is a good thing. It means you've still got stuff you can learn. Don't be worried about sounding stupid, just worry about getting so many Fs, and figure out what you need to know to get better grades.

There is no such thing as a stupid question...it's only stupid if you sit there with your mouth shut because you're afraid to let others know you don't understand. I know it's hard but don't bend to peer pressure! If you're having problems learning you may need to find alternative ways to learn. Ask your teacher or counsellor for help. If you're that embarrassed then take them aside out of range of your classmates and tell them....the longer you wait, the harder it's going to get so DON'T WAIT!

Probably. Depends on your teacher though. The best way to rectify the situation is to approach your teacher and ask for help. Also, I would make it a point to talk in class. Even if you don't come across as brilliant, you're teacher will most likely appreciate the effort.

Your teacher may think that something may be wrong with you but if he or she is a good teacher then they won't think your stupid just that you need extra help like a tutor. I think you need a lilttle more confidence and you'll be just fine, when you are in class just relax.
