All the people that profess to follow him wouldn't if they actually met him.

Most likely. Those who profess to follow him are completely opposite of his teachings. It's ironic.

I'd call him a Radical. He was quoted in the Bible as saying he was here to turn father against son and mother against daughter. Plus I don't think Jesus would be so liberal as to champion partial-birth abortions. Call me crazy, but that just doesn't sound like Him.

The hypocricy of this question is fascinating.

The same people who wish to erase Nativity scenes from public property, images of the Ten Commandments from public property, who wish to prevent football players from saying a non-denominational prayer before a football game or at a graduation ceremony are the SAME PEOPLE who suggest that Jesus -- a man who lived 2000 years ago -- would actually have something in common with modern day liberals.

Embarassing.

In terms of government and religion, Jesus was a radical conservative. Look how often he told people thay had lost sight of God's intention and how their customs were at odds with God's intent.

Funny how we think "love" is a liberal virtue. Truth is a virtue regardless your bent.

Absolutely NOT!!! Jesus HATED the hypocrites of his day so he would certainly disapprove of todays liberal practices. With their two-sided double standards, their race baiting and "oh-so-phony" "we care for you" mantra. I believe he would rebuke Nancy Pelosi to her face and tell her she was a harlot and a sinner. I can totally see Jesus eating dinner with his friends and disciples - the Republicans. I'm sure the democrats would crucify him for not taking their point of view just as they did in the New Testament. Democrats love abortion...Jesus hates it.
