not really a great place for kids. I would wait it out, and visit them, think of what they need, even though it hurts not to see them.

Thankfully no your children can not stay with you at the halfway house what do you think a half way house is ? it is a halfway point from being in prison to being a active member of society in most halfway houses you have set hours you are allowed to have visitors and you must find gainful employment its just like being in the pen but you can go out and get a job and go eat at mcdonalds if you want but you still have to be back for regular counts and bed check you cant drink or have sex or anything like that until you are out of the halfway house and serving on your probation or parole then you can have your kids stay with you as long as it is not in your probabtion or parole that they cant

It would probably depend on the ruls of the half-way house. Try to get someone to find half-way houses that will let kids stay.

No. Children aren't allowed in that kind of environment. You are still considered as to be rehabilitating in a half-way house.

In all the ones I know of, no, children and families are not allowed to stay there. They may be allowed to visit, but not live there.

Not where I live, but they can visit. But the people who are there are not people you would want your kids around anyway.
