I definitely felt a void last night when there was no baseball to watch. But I recorded some of the World Series games and I plan on getting the DVD and re-experience the Cards winning over and over. :)
Also, with the internet now, you can follow your team all the time with the free agent signings and articles on the official sites.
So in a way, it never stops. But I do miss the games already.
I still love football and college basketball, but it definitely isn't the same.

The only reason you find them boring is because they dominate 99% of the teams they play, giving them essentially no chance to win at all. They're painfully efficient. Duncan in the post cannot be stopped. Teams are forced to throw two or three guys at him, leaving Parker, Barry, Finley, Manu, and Bowen with open shots and open lanes to the basket. They are certainly not a "slow" team either, as they will push the ball whenever teams don't get back. Parker alone, possibly the fastest player in the NBA, is a fastbreak. Even in the halfcourt, his teardrops and crossovers are a thing of beauty, and Ginobili's contortionist jobs on the way to the basket are absolutely sick. If you're a fan of dunk contests and "streetball", perhaps you ought not watch the NBA. If what you're looking for is the Paris Hilton/OJ Simpson/American Idol episode, go watch the Lakers or Nuggets or MTV. But if you're a fan of basketball, the Spurs are it. The most efficient offense in the league, the best defense, the smartest players and best passers in the league. The Spurs are the shiznit.

Not me. I live in Venezuela and we've got Winter Baseball. I get to see many Major League ballplayers here like K.Rod, Miguel Cabrera, Bobby Abreu, Carlos Guillen and a bunch of hot prospects. I even think that sometime in December we'll see Johan Santana pitch. What a ride!

I am, even if my team the Cardinals won. It is the only sport I like, and I really hate football.
To bad Roller Derby 1960"s style isn't still around.
I would be going to the Parade also if I still lived in ST Louis
Booo Hooo!
