I had to restore my computer back to factory setting after it crashed, but now i cannot get the sound to come on. i have gone ito the voice & sound system and tried everything that i could but nothing. can someone help me? i have a dell

You are probably missing a driver for the sound card.
Goto the web-site for the brand of machine you have.
Check thier drivers section.
Look for audio drivers, usually clearly labeled.
Download
Reboot
You should have sound.

Start control panel sound and audio You can adjust sound from there. You can also see if you have any question on your audio from there also. bIf you do have a question mark you may to reload your drivers

might just need to reboot...i had a similar situation
