What are the side effects to someone's first anal sex experience, and does it always hurt worst the first time, even though the guy took it slow and easy, and get better later? Is there anything that I, as the woman, need to do to make it hurt less the next time?

There are a couple things you could do.

1. Maybe use a vibrator or another source of stimulation for yourself while he is inserting. This causes you to relax more and ease the muscles. And it feels awesome too!

2. Use a good brand of lubricant (this always) and change positions to change the shape of the rectum. This will help decrease pain. A good position includes you getting on top of him and letting him insert. This is my favorite, for it puts me in more control, allowing me to slowly guide him in. In this position, you straighten the pathway, so to speak. And that equals less pain.

Always clean up everytime! This prevents the spread of disease and virus.

EDIT: If you are concerned about him getting residue, etc on him, then he could put on a condom and lubricate that.

Good Luck

If you have anal sex then vaginal sex, you can introduce E. coli into your vagina with a resulting infection. Your partner should wash completely before going vaginally after anally. The pain is usually short lived, but you can develop hemrrhoids from it, so be especially careful. Proper lubrication is needed to help ease the penetrationl. You can buy KY jelly at Walmart or most drug stores. Be careful. STDs can be spread this way. Some women do not like anal penetration because of the pain. It is not the natural orifice for sexual intercourse, and does not dilate as easily as the vaginal opening.

You need to use plenty of numbing type lube that is designed specifically for anal sex. There are no side effects of anal sex. You just need to be sure to use plenty and I mean plenty of lube. Let him go slow and be relaxed. If it starts to be painful or bother you a lot ask him to stop and either wait a bit to relax some or try another time. Not everyone is successful with anal sex first time out.

Anal sex is not like vaginal sex: there is no hymen that makes it hurt worse the first time. It'll hurt every time as long as you are tensed up or underlubricated.

Don't use numbing lube or alcohol/drugs to dull the pain... pain is your body's way of telling you to stop before you do damage. Use lots of regular lubricant, try starting off with fingers or narrow sex toys (which by the way should be kept very clean, and ideally used only for the butt), and take. your. time. Make him give you your orgasm first... it'll help you relax.

Anal sex should not hurt, if your doing it right. Lube, lube, and more lube. Go slow, start small, have fun. If you feel pain, stop, try a different position, start again.

I love anal sex, its a special treat for my husband and myself.

The anus is a muscle. If the muscle is stretched it will return to its normal shape, no harm - no foul. If you do not prepare your anus that could tearing later leading to have problems with incontinence. Just having anal sex does not lead to incontinence.

Let me tell you what a doctor told my friend. If she wants to continue to have anal sex pretty soon she will not be able to hold her rectal muscles together and the crap will just flow out of her all by itself.
Not to mention it is extremely unsanitary for the guy. He will come in contact with every poison and filth your body is getting rid of.
Stay clean...only have married sex and life a long time .
