Most likely never.
1. The SB for the most part...is not a game for the average fan to attend. Certainly...some fans of the teams playing do get lucky and are able to get a ticket to the game...but for the most part...the people in attendance are their because it is the Super Bowl...not because it is a game that decides the NFL Championship. Know what I am saying? BIG BUCKS are shelled out by corporations buying blocks of tickets and god forbid their clients may be uncomfortable. It would not suprise me a bit to find some "fans" attending the game...do not even know who is playing. It is sickening that the fans of the teams involved are basically shut out of the ticket buying process....but..the NFL is about money and entertainment. That is the bottom line no matter what us die hard fans like to believe.
2. In the case of Green Bay hosting a SB...I am not sure that they would even be able to handle the logistics of it. Yes..the Green Bay area was able to manage the NFC Championship game back in 1997...but the SB is an entire different story. We are talking about the city of Green Bay pretty much doubling it's population for almost an entire week. As it stands now for a normal game...hotel availability is a nightmare (and on normal games...most fans do not even stay overnight). Still...some fans must book hotel reservations in cities and towns 25-30 miles away. I am not sure how many hotel rooms are in the immediate area...but if it is that difficult to get a room for a couple nights for 10,000 people (I am just guessing the number)..imagine what it would be like for at least 100,000 (for up to a week). That is just a small example of the logistics involved in hosting an event like the SB.

I know. I love the packers. Probaly because it's too cold. Soldier Field is also a good stadium but lambeau is better. I can prove that because I've been to 4 of there home games. I wish they would but the NFL wont.

Probably when Hades freezes over, because then Green Bay would probably seem warm, like Florida or California ;) Seriously though, unless the northern teams have a dome, they probably would never see a Super Bowl, because the NFL wants to put on a good show for the big corporate spenders, and having those big ticket spenders outside in January weather is not conducive to making big money. I think the money and corporate sponsorship wins out here, not us die-hard northern football fans who enjoy seeing a "snow bowl" every now and again...

As much as I'd love to see a Super Bowl held at Soldier Field(DA BEARS!), it's never gonna happen. Super Bowls are generally held in "warmer climates" such as Florida, New Orleans, or dome stadiums...
Sorry man...

Never, the NFL doesn't want to have its prized game at stadium that is not a dome. Plus they always look to the bigger cities and venues for the added cash

Yeah, why give the warm weather teams the advantage? The stadium would still be packed. Of course, it might not be quite as pleasant for the fans and the players, but hey, can't they take some pain to play/watch football?

It unfortunatly will never happen--because the NFL is afraid it will lose money because its a cold weather stadium.
Although places like Green Bay--Buffalo--and--Denver just to name a few always seel out anyway.

Soon, I hope. After all, football is a cold weather sport, and Chicago and Green Bay are great football towns.

Never. The NFL wouldn't have their showcase game in a hick town above the arctic circle.
