Looking at the number of "thumbs down" ratings to people who said that race shouldn't matter, I am disgusted by the number of biggots who are still in existance today. Race should never determine whether or not two people should date, its what's in the heart.

It completely depends on the character of the person; I don't care about race. If they work hard, have good values, and respect my daughter AND ME - I'm fine with it. Now all I need to do is find a daughter.

I would disown my daughter. Humans forget that we are a part of nature and in nature, Tigers mate with Tigers, Lions with Lions, dogs with dogs, when the natural order is messed with, the natural order collapses. Race mixing is a crime against nature, a crime against God. Hindus know this, it is in their holy scriptures that race mixing, varna/caste mixing signifies the destruction of the world. Shouldn't OJ Simpson's brutal murder of his White wife and the jury's letting OJ off - shouldn't that have convinced America that race mixing is wrong?

Kindness means loving your own kind. Blacks with Blacks, Asians with Asians, Whites with Whites - that is the natural order. Don't mess with Nature.

I don't care what race he is as long as he is a kind, responsible, caring person who loves her and treats her well. On another note, I'm surprised at how many responses like mine have gotten lots of thumbs down...I guess I didn't realize how many people are still opposed to interracial relationships.

Hopefully I am raising my children with high enough standards so that I will never need to worry about them dating outside of their race.
I think each race is unique, let's keep it that way.

It's not about the race, it about does that person want to live the stereotype or does he want you to know that he is not who the stereotype portrays.

I don't know what race you are but some black guys I have worked with in Armored security I have trusted with my life more than anyone, however I have seen alot of people live up to the stereotype as well. Remember that stereotypes are often based on fact but to assume that every redneck sleeps with his cousin is ignorance.

Just make sure it is actually love like you would if she was dating someone same race. Make sure she isn't just trying to make you jealous because you are not to fond of the idea.
