When I went to Borrego Springs in Southern California, I hiked out to a natural oasis and sat in the water for a while, watching everything. When I was there for a while I saw mostly desert rats scurrying around, but I heard a rattle snake and on the hike out I came across a heard of mountain goats. Lots of bees as well
