There are three that never fail to bring a tear to my eye:
1)Patsy Cline - Walking After Midnight
2)Tammy Wynette - I Don't Wanna Play House
3)Merle Haggard - Green Green Grass of Home
With Straight Tequila Night by John Anderson coming in a good fourth. There is nothing like Country music to make you have a good long cry and encourage drinking deep of the life you had and loves you lost.

He stopped loving her today is one of the saddest songs. Another one that I think is sad is, Think I'll go somewhere and cry myself to sleep- Charlie Louvin. also, Wine into water, by T. Grahm Brown, both sad songs.
