My mother and brother found evidence suggesting that I look at porn online. (I think that she looked in the history folder on IE Explorer) She wants to question me about this. Should I tell her truth (yes, I do look at porn) or should I keep denying it? I'm thinking of devising some elaborate lie because my family is very conservative.

In my life I have found that honesty will serve you the best.
If you are honest you may be able to broaden the minds of your conservative family, or you may be able to open the door for someone else in you family to be honest about something they've been hiding. If you believe that looking at pornography is a healthy form of expression then why would you hide it? If you are ashamed of it then why are you looking at it? I'm not saying my opinion either way, I just think that you should be proud of who you are and what you are about... your family will love you for it even if they do not understand.

Sure...the easy way out would be to lie but I would tell the truth! I am only 28 but i have learned that lying gets you no where and it seems to have a "snowball" effect. One small simple lie turns into a ton of different lies! If you have a problem with porn then face it before it gets out of control. Your family will love you know matter what!

There is no elaborate lie in the universe that can dispute a history on the computer. Computers do not make up that stuff.

Admit to it because if you dont then your family wont trust you. there is really nothing wrong with looking at porn occasionally but if it affects your relationship with others then you might have a porn addiction.

I think that you should tell her. This way she will trust you in the future. Plus, it is way better than getting caught looking at it.
I also want to know that if you knew about the history, why didn't you delete it?

what you look at should be your business and no one elses. just say you looked at the history folder and typed in what you saw. that will put suspicion on everyone.

Just tell your mother,(it is none of your brother's business), that you have been curious about sex. Maybe she will just give you the sex talk.

I think you should come clean. You won't be able to hide it forever and it's better that they hear it from you. Just explain why you do it.
