monitor is blank. i am using intel pentium D850EMD2 motherboard and 4 126mb rdram. geforce 6600

Does it boot after giving the beeps ?
One longbeep, two short beeps---- video defective
one long beep, three short beeps --- video defective.
two short beeps ---- video defective ( error code displayed)
one short beep ---- Everything is perfect.
Check your video card.

that mean your display card/onboard display is problem. sometime it doesn't sit properly on the slot (agp/pci slot). take out the card (if you are using card) clean it with a dry clean cloth(specially the gold plated connector) and properly install it firmly into the proper slot. if you are using onboard display, try changing it to a display card (pci/agp). if you are using a display card and your motherboard have onboard display, test it your onboard display. dont forget to clean the slot as well.
