Blame the Greeks. "Dyslexic" comes from the Greek words "dys" (hard or ill) and "lexis" (word, phrase or diction). So "dyslexic" means "hard words," which is certainly what a person with this disorder would think after trying to read an average sentence.
If you want to name diseases or disorders, get a medical degree and discover a new one.
