Change the way you see things in winter, it's a time to reflect what has transpired in the past and work forward towards the future. Spring is around the corner. Think positive! Get into winter, dress warm and try winter sports like skating. Take vitamins like C & D. Keep you room well lit.

Move to Florida, its closer. I get depressed every winter too. Its hard to do anything outside. I guess hang in there and make the best of it. Start taking pictures of the leafs and winter snows. Make it a hobby and make a portfolio of winter pictures, I think that would be cool.

Use your time to study and get straight As. Your goal should be a well paying job, so that when you are making money, you can choose to live anywhere in the world, where it is warm all year round.
If you don't then you might be in a wintery world all your life. So do your planning now.

Lots of people get mild depression from gloomy weather. Put lots of bright lights in your house, paint your room a bright color, wear bright clothes. Do things that make you active. Put on your favorite song and dance around the house. Buy yourself flowers. Put up Christmas lights in October. Wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, smile, and tell yourself to have a fantastic day, because spring is one day closer!
