What's in your handbag/purse (w/e u call it?)??

3.) a Hamtaro coin purse
4.) a black pen
5.) an American Eagle Outfitters All-Access Pass
6.) a Wet Seal Deal card
7.) a business card from the place where I get my eyebrows done
8.) my doctor's business card
9.) my school ID
10.) a bent paperclip (to hold the fly of my pants up, some of the zippers for some reason go down whenever I move)
11.) two Playtex Gentle Glide tampons
12.) my cell phone (Motorola ROKR)
13.) my iPod nano with it's cherries and black background case (from Claire's)
14.) my keys (all my key chains either broke or are too big, I like small purses)
15.) scraps of paper
16.) school MetroCard

It sounds like a lot but it's not.

I HATE carrying a heavy purse around with me. All the purses I buy are small--usually less than 8 inches long and 5 inches wide, and no more than 2 inches thick at it's maximum size.

In it I keep my billfold wallet--one that folds lengthwise, so that the bills are on one side and all my I.D. cards are on the other. I carry a separate change purse--a 4 by 5 inch zippered pouch.

My Cross pen that I got as a gift from an admirer.

I always have a small travel container of lotion tucked in the side. Especially with winter coming on. I don't like the way the cold, dry weather chaps my skin.

And then there is my lip moisturizer. My lipstick. A two-pack of my current favorite eyeshadow, which happens to be mauve and sepia.

A travel package of tissue.

And a flip folder made of clear plastic sleeves bound together. In it I carry pictures of my family. My three nephews figure prominantly, as well as my Grandma, and my Mom. I have the only picture of my Dad in existance, one taken on the beach in Nova Scotia. My mom took it the day they got married. He was killed two months after the wedding in an accident. My mom only realized she was pregnant with me a month after the funeral. I guess she wasn't a strong woman, because she died when I was just two. My grandma says she pined herself to death.

Anyway, all those things leave my purse jammed, but I refuse to switch to a bigger one. My grandma always said that a cluttered purse was the sign of a cluttered mind.

I never carry a handbag. If I have an outfit with no pockets (very unusual), I ask my husband to carry my wallet and keys. On business I use a briefcase, and that might have wadded tissues, etc, but I don't carry purses.

An overdue bill, a Bare Escentuals "compact" for the lack of a better word, City Lips lip plumper, iPod w/video & earbuds, cellphone & headset, drinking straw wrapper, various receipts, billfold w/not enough money, a skull scarf, keys on a Captain Jack keychain. Time to change purses - maybe the black baguette w/a different skull scarf tied on. Thank goodness I don't have to deal w/tampons anymore (thank you, chemo), but carry liners for other issues (again, thank you, chemo).

Well there's no time like the present to get this thing cleaned out. Thanks for asking this question, I really needed to clean this pocket book out. Well here goes nothing...................

Wallet: credit cards, gift cards, store cards, insurance cards for me and the kids, sosial security cards for me and the kids, drivers liscense, pictures galore, china buffet discount card LOL, $6.58 in change inside the change compartment, lots of reciepts from shopping, and some loose business cards.

Cigarrette Case: Ciggarettes and lighter of course, debit card, reciepts, in the small part has $23.64 in it and a folded up piece of paper with an address and phone number on it.

Oh my the bottom of the barrel has lots of trash , gum wrappers, the wrapper to a straw, 4 pens, a small mirror, blistex, deposit slips, cd, undeveloped film, tampons, and 4 $1.00 bills folded up I didnt know I had.

The front zipper pocket has: a pad of paper, keys to my locker at work, 2 red pens, a blue pen, a black sharpie, 3 hair bands, reciepts, chap stick, nail file, finger nail clippers, tylenol, tissue (unused), and a few pieces of balled up paper.

The side pouch has my cell phone and my name tag for work.

The secret pocket is full of tampons and a couple pads.

Well, I just got a new purse so there is barely anything inside of it right now. I have my debit card, extra cash, my cellphone and a mini bottle of lotion I purchased from a hair salon. =] I still have to buy a compact mirror and mini brush to put in my purse too.

tin of mints, concealer "touch up" stick, lipgloss (Pear jellybean flavor), Juicy couture wallet, two recipts (one for Nordstroms. The other for Starbucks), and my sunglasses (yeah brandname, but I think I'm looking a lil too stuck up with the rest of the stuff so I'll leave the name out. lol)

Edit: hmm... I'm a little disturbed that my keys and celphone aren't in here. I usually have those as well, in my purse. *scowls at boyfriend who prolly borrowed both, but forgot to put them back*
