Yes, In most cases these women are trained from birth to ''Honor thy Man or Master'', depending upon their orgin of birth and can be as young as 12 years old or younger, (sadly enough). Most women are either wanting someone who is better off then their families are in the country they live in or a father has too many daughters and not enough sons to help with farming, hence, sell the excess livestock and receive money to ease their hardships. As for being legal? Laws between each country differ in these matters but if you order a bride (mail order) you are obligated to pay their way to your country then marry them so they have citizenship status, (Canada and the United States)

Definately... Different countries have different ways of going about this, but basically all that a "mail order bride" is, is a girl from another country looking for a husband in America (or another like country). There are catalogs that are basically filled with personal ads for these women and men simply answer them. In most cases, if a man likes a girl or a few girls, he plans a trip to thier country of origin to meet them before he invests in bringing them over.

google it. My husband and his buddy were wondering the same thing one night, so we all googled it, and their are actually sites with profiles, how t oorder and everyhting. Pretty wild, and sad
