Yeah, the sky starts on the ground... the sky is the atmosphere- the atmosphere is all of the air around you... Which mostly is consisted of Nitrogen and Oxygen. There are many layers of the atmosphere... The one in which YOU ARE IN and which weather occurs is the troposphere..... AND As you travel up, it can get colder or warmer... LIKE in the atmosphere layer that has the Ozone layer (which is not an actual atmosphere layer) the temp. heats up because ozone traps (absorbs_ heat)

I figure that a "skyscraper" is just barely scraping the sky. Therefore, the sky starts at 150 meters , as is the common definition of a skyscraper.
