strikes me as a song about a strong desire for someone who he wants and in the absence of that person he woudl like a photograph. Not tha tI woudl rule out the erson receiving the photo and winding up creating fantasies that might lead to masturbation.

I dunno. I would guess either that or maybe obsessive infatuation, like teens with celebrities or pervy old men with porn stars? Like how people cut out their favorite famous crushes and tape them on the wall and have all their posters and what not. But then again, I'm sure that probably leads to masturbation as well. lol.
