Creative Zen....wish you would tell me which one (I have the Zen V and love it) whether its the micro photo, V, or whatever else....its a smarter buy. If its the creative Zen V, not only does it have the same features, but its cheaper and even has voice recording and line in recording. Its more BaNg for your BuCk and much less hassle, because when it comes to iPods, u HAVE to use iTunes, and nothing else will work, so you are limited.
U gotta go with the Creative Zen!
If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me, I know my electronics!!

I just bought a Zen. I'm fairly happy with it, except it is a bit defective. It wouldn't do anything or even turn off earlier. I think it works fine now.
I haven't tried an Ipod Nano. I don't like the looks of them, and I don't think they're 'windows media player' compatable.
I think it's easier to use than an Ipod. The buttons are much more simple.

Creative Zen Nano Plus because i have one. It's so much easier to change batteries unlike the ipod where you have to charge your battery on the computer. Plus it's much cheaper and smaller.

Nano all the way.
I bought a different mp3 player for my daughter last Christmas and she hated it. We were able to buy her a nano for her birthday (reluctantly) but when I decided to use the other one for myself I quickly found out why she hated it, it was sooo hard to use.
The Ipods are much easier to use, all the way around.
We are sticking with them from now on.

iPod Nano. Why? Because rechargeable batteries are so much easier than regular ones and you don't have to constantly buy batteries. More people have iPod nanos so there are more accessories for them and cases and such.

ingenious Zen Micro. As Mr. Vise Grips stated, it would not 'lock' you into iTunes, and that i think of it quite is merely greater trouble-free to apply. i do no longer recognize from adventure, yet i've got heard that the ingenious Zen Micro lasts longer than the iPod. i think it - the Zen Micro is impressive.

honestly, depends on quality or price. in terms of price, id say the creative and your probably paying for more space, it really depends on what you really want. If its for quality, and the brand its definatley Apple. They have alot more options like games, but it depends on your use for it. If its just mainly music, id go for the creative and if your low on cash and want alot of space.
