The warmth of human nature is an undeniably beautiful thing, but we would not fully appreciate or understand it's greatness if there were no darkness in the world. When does light seem the brightest? After dark, does it not? The balance between the two is what's beautiful.

I find the warmth more beautiful than the human existence. I have no clue why. Humans will probably always be of existence. But the warmth they bring to a persons life is so much more beautiful than the person itself.

I think as humans were are attracted to both or all areas of human existance - even suffering. we punish ourselves with guilt, we like hearing about or keeping informed with all the horrors that that happen to people.
look at hollywood, literature, politics. is there a movie/book/act of parliament out that doesn't try to deal with some form of angst/conflict (darkness) being overcome (warmth)?
in answer to your question i find beauty in the warmth that comes from darkness.

Where is the darkness ? Even the dark smoke seems to remind the spark beneath, waiting to be 'inspired' with a gentle blow to flare up into a sparkling bright flame.
The warmth is almost an incidental thing when we seem to merge with the love of the flame !

SpiritualSeeker has it.
The darkness drives us to understand the value of the warmth; so much so that we seek to unite with it, ; then to find that there never really was any darkness in the first place...

It's a matter of balance. You need the light and the dark the ups and downs because one without the other would make each one obsolete in it's own way. If every day is a sunny day then what's a sunny day? Get it?

Well, the warmth, obviously. What's the appeal in focusing on the ever-pervasive crap if we can emulate a good, warm person?
