I've never been to britain
but I have a british friend....
and the way the differences were explained to me then I guess that they are my kind of people.

Well Cockneys are true Londoners and from mostly working class backgrounds. All my family are from London but only my Grandparents were actual cockneys (born within the sound of Bow Bells) From my experience they are generally likeable and have a light hearted view of life. Sadly there seem to be many that claim to be Cockneys but few really are,. Remember they are central city folk and probably much like others from a similar environment, say Birmingham or Manchester.
