you can do a burn out in anything. put it in neutral rev it up to about 3000 RPM then put it in drive. but here is your only warning you do this enough your transmission will explode in to a million little pieces in side it. all the gears will break and it will be extremely expensive to fix.

BMW has used the blinking red light for years. The purpose is to deter thieves from stealing your car. The blinking red light tells the would-be thief that your car has an alarm system, so go find another car to steal. The alarm system is not built into the light - it just controls the light. Your car has a light inside the red plastic cover. If you have a good contact in the service department at your dealership, you can ask them to activate the light for you. The dealer installed BMW alarm system does a good job of deterring theft, however it is only a deterrent. A good thief will bypass the system and steal your car. If you have the light flashing, you are also advertising that you have the BMW alarm system (will scare away the amateurs, but a good thief knows how to get around the system). My recommendation is to add a radar system to the interior of your car and have a "pager" silently let you know your car is being tampered with. Of course have all the other alarm components, but get rid of the flashing light, the siren or the horn hookup, so the thief doesn't know there is an alarm on your car. I hope this helps. Greg

Smart one guy! buy a 2006 BMW and you want to do burn outs. if you got the money to buy an 06 automatic then why not buy a manuel? is it because you dont know how to drive a stick? If that is the case you shouldnt be asking how to do a burn out yet! And to everyone reading this........This is why when you go to purchase a 2006 BMW in 2008 you wonder how it can have so many problems in such little time. because people like this dont appriciate the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE. what a fool!

well, yes you can. first, put the car in drive and just sit there. then, slam dpwn on the gas pedal all the way to the flor. the car's wheels should start spinning(burn out). and there you go. that is how you burn out an 06 BMW

You will not burn out like you would with a stick shift transm. and with a standard car. I assume that car is stock. But you can chirp it a bit by putting your shifter in neutral then reving your RPM's high then slam it into drive and you'll get a little chirp but you wont be able to burn out you dont have enough power, plusit is not stick shift. Good luck man!

the easiest way is to get a lot of water on the tires, brake with the left foot, and rev the engine until the tires starting spinning.

From a stop position, push your brake down to the floor then give it some gas, when/if your tires start to spin, take your foot of the brake.

Why would you want to do that? Please, go buy a modded Nissan or something. You make all BMW lovers look bad.
