althoguh the SAT is outta 2400, most colleges really care for the score outta 1600 (that's math and verbal sections) so anything at around 1250 and above will look good, and it's wut most colleges like to see (it is above average by the way) in terms of the ACT, a 28 and above is also good. u need to think realisitcally...i dont know u academically but these minimums are something to try for...the beauty of these tests are that u can take them more than once. good luck

the SAT is out of 2400 now...so anything high is good.... and the ACT is out of 30. A good score for the SAT would be 2000-2400 (or so...maybe a tad lower) and a good score would be from 25-30.
