how can i remove quicktime COMPLETELY from my pc. i need to do this because i want to reinstall it, andwithout it, i cant use itunes. ive tried evrything and i always get an error when i install quicktime that says i have to uninstall it first. but it doesnt appear in the Add or Remove Programs. i tried sending it straght to the recycle bin but i still cant uninstall it. ive also tried removing all registry files by using regedt32.exe from the system32 folder. there are some folders that say quicktime, some i deleted, others i tried to delete it but an error comes up that says: cannot delete QuickTime.qt: Error while deleting key. im hoping that if i delete all these registry files, and all other quicktime related files, i can then install quicktime and finally be able to use itunes. but those damn errors wont let me delete some of the registry files. please help me, im about to go crazy if i cant fix itunes!!!

There are two options left:
1) Do a system restore, and select a time before you installed it.
All programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->System Restore>
2) If that didn't work try a system recovery which completely cleans your hard drive and formats all your files and recovers your computer to factory-shipped quality. (Save this one for the last, because it cleans out basically everything)

Go to control panel>add/remove programs> than the first thing you're looking for is quicktime, so all you have to do is press it and in the right hand corner it'll say change/remove>press that and press yes to all recomended actions and from that quicktime will be removed * also a quick note, that if you have itunes and you remove quicktime than both quicktime and itunes wont work.

Instead of uninstalling it, Why don't you just reinstall both Quicktime and itunes. Download both programs or try and get updates to both programs. This usally works for me. Good luck...

i would highly advise you to let a professional do it. I tried to do it on one of my computers and it screwed up the entire system..it would not work at all..Windows had to be completely reinstalled. However if you choose to uninstall it, you can from Control Panel, add and remove programs
