OK...right now I am at my neighbors house celelbrating this one lady's birthday. I am SOOO bored. They got Miss Terry (the birthday person) a card and on the front it said, "How are men like floor tiles?" It isn't like I don't know anything about sex! Nobody would let me see the card! So once they were done with it, I looked inside it and it said, "You get to lay them and then walk all over them." I'M 13 FOR GODSAKES! It isn't like I don't here anything about stuff like that at school! Then my mom said, "Well it wouldn't have been fair if I let you see it and not anybody else." HELLO! All of the other kids here are aged 7-11! I AM 13 PEOPLE! Would you let your 13 read that card? If not, why not? And is there any cool TEEN websites I can go on? And is there anything I can do while I am trapped here with a bunch of little kids?

Quit acting like a toddler throwing a tantrum because you didn't get your own way. You want to be treated like you're older then act like it. That card was written for adults. I wouldn't have let you read it either reguardless of how much you think you know. When you are old enough to realize you don't always get your own way and that throwing a fit about it is childish you might be old enough for people to listen to your opinions. As for being bored. Find a book to read to yourself or possibly the younger child/ren that might be feeling left of the older children's playing.
If you can't find a way to entertain yourself yet you are in for a lifetime of being dependent on others to make you happy or being BORED.

Im 19 and im in college, I used to think similar to u, and know i look back and see that its a bad phase, and u should stop it because the girls that i knew who wanted to grow up fast are now smoking, having sex, and one was pregnant, and they try to grow up fast, one of them which isnt like that is in university law school, she studied, hanged out with a nice crew, and thats it, stay away from this stuff or you will regret it one day.

I wouldn't let you read it either. Please read a book and stop worrying about these trivial things. I wish I was a kid like you again. Man it was good to worry about stupid stuff. No bills, no college, ahh.. the good life.
What if u were in ur mom's position. Better yet, what if u had a 13 year old brother surrounded by little kids. Would u let him read it or would u feel uncomfortable?

Go to bored.com. It really helps me when I am dying for something to do. Oh and I am totally with you. I am 13, and everyone expects you to be grown up, but then when you try to act responsible and older they treat you like a little kid! Its annoying.

I have a sister that is 12, her name is alecia and my mother never had girl talk with her and she started listening to her friends in school, and now she has tattoos, piercing. because it it better to know latter, because it saves you a lot of unnecessary mistakes, and if you have an idea of what they are talking about you should accept that it is over-rated for you.

I wouldn't just show my daughter the card.Just becuase u hear stuff and think its normal doesn't mean its right for your parents or w/e to willingly share a sex joke with you.
