What are ways we can help prevent crime?

Will donating lets say 20K to whom ever , Police station , City? Do much to help prevent some of it?

I live in california , Orange County , Not that much crime , But their is still crime.

It's pety how theirs so many crooked cops in places like L.A , dont you think?

We need more cops and authority in this Country .

Also Dont you think Rape should be LIFE in prison?

Rape Victims , Once they get raped , their lives are most likely over , So the person who did it , deserve's life in prison , The victim , Will fall into depression , Which if its a teenager , will destroy their education and their future plans..Such as careers.

So dont you agree?

And in L.A ( the bad part ) Do you think 1 Billion dollars could even fix it up , Just a little? crime wise?

i think your right. if the government cared half as much about this country as they did putting money in their own pockets, i'm sure we wouldnt have as many problems with crime.

if you want to decrease crime you have to up the threat of reprisal. crime is rampant because criminals know that the punishment will be minimal. all this thanks to the liberal judges and lawyers who let these bastards off with light jail time or no jail time at all. increase penalties, give death to anyone who takes a life or rapes, child abuse and really, how about all violent crimes............regardless of background or social woes of perpetrator. no deals, no reduced sentences, no immunity from prosecution. take away all civil rights, conjugal visits, hot meals, books, tv's, weight rooms, hot showers, air conditioning. bring back chain gangs, caning, public hangings.
