There is no state that doesn't have such places. I really question your plan to scream, since that raises havoc with the nature you claim to be able to want to talk to. One horrid scream and everything will be gone for a rather long time.

Also, it is much easier to meet your other requirements if you don't need to get about two miles away from the nearest person so the police don't come to investigate your screams.

I imagine that you must be in a large city like Houston or LA or NYC, where such things just aren't possible. In the Midwest, for example, there are a number of places right in the city limits of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where, except for the screams, what you want is within walking distance of your home in every part of the city.

And, there are State and county parks within easy drives that are even better, except on weekends. The only bad side is winters are cold and there are times you can't go out. Still, I enjoyed sleeping out in the snow in tents at 20 below zero, with special sleeping bags. In the cold, it is really quiet, and you can hear foxes miles away.

There is a nature trail from Cedar Rapids to Waterloo, and on weekdays, that is a private place, with some very scenic views.

Believe it or not, there are jobs in such communities, at least for women with college degrees, and people live there and raise families, while having access to all you seek, except the place to scream. Do you have any real job qualifications, or are you a kid?

In the Appalachians, there are places where if you die your body may not be found for weeks or ever. Look up the Appalachian trail. It is open to the public, and you can walk all summer and still not get done. People actually have food and clothes shipped to small towns nearby so they can pick up stuff as they walk.

Alas, the Appalachians are noted for not having good jobs, though it only takes one.

You don't "find" this place, you "create" it.
I have such a place in my backyard.
You need to surround yourself with the things that make you feel peaceful and safe and calm and creative and motivated. Think about what these things are and then either do a room of your home or an open outdoor space on your property like this.
If you like nature and have no actual outdoor property, you can create a faux space like this indoors. Empty a small room. Put a very comfortable chair in there. Order a scenic mural for one wall. Buy a sounds of nature CD. Get one of those things with water that runs over rocks. Things like this will help you create a space you can be serene in.

I live out in the country, so I can yell and scream all I want out in the open. The best place is somewhere that you feel comfortable with. If I cant go outside to do that stuff then I go to my room and sit and think. But heres the thing. When I turn my radio up like Really loud my family knows not to talk to me because they know I am thinking. All I can say is go somewhere you are happy, and comfortable with.

You can actually see a miracle when the very need to scream would get melted away, even vaporise into thin air, when you look at the innocent laughter of a baby, the full throated laughter of a teeth-less baby, showing all the 'gums' (no teeth), the eyes simply captivating, leaving no scope for any search for the reason !
You too were like this (...... Agreed ! quite unawares, like this child, and that is why this innocence and joy got robbed , when stepping into adulthood) !
But , nothing prevents us from ' being' with such children, for a while, forgetting all our arguments, worries, etc...
And if you happen to be comfortable with the job of taking care of babies, then you are really blessed, because, the baby care people would welcome some volunteering, and the rewards are sumptuous !

At the end of a very horible day. I took off walking along a little stream just down the road from my house. I walked for a short distance but in no time I was out of sight of everyone and everything execpt nature itself. At that time I didn't care where I went or if I ever came back. Around a bend in the stream was a large rock. I suddenly stopped and sat on that rock. Slowly I began to look around me and for the first time in many years I really looked. I have been back there thousands of times. Sometimes you just need a rock to sit on, take a breath & look around. I hope you find your rock. Best of luck.

Near the coast, in the rainforest, in Washington, where I grew up, in the summertime. All by myself (or with my dog!) , in the middle of nowhere. It's green, quiet, and relaxing. But I never go there anymore and no longer have a dog. Someday... Also, now I live in a big city by a lake. I like to walk there in the summertime when it's starting to get dark with my boyfriend and watch the water, the people, the birds, fish, and bats. :) Good question!

If you are not at peace with yourself, no matter where you go there will be chaos. However, to create a peaceful environment wherever you are, silence is best, burning candles or incense, the sounds of wind chimes, sounds of a forest, sounds of the ocean, Enya, a home-made fountain with the sound of gurgling water, a hot bath, a massage...anything really that appeals to your senses and calm you down.

A person who neither rejoices upon achieving something pleasant nor laments upon obtaining something unpleasant, who is self-intelligent, who is unbewildered, and who knows the science of God, is already situated in transcendance.

Such a liberated person is not attracted to material sense pleasure but is always in trance, enjoying the pleasure within. In this way, the self realized person enjoys unlimited happiness, for he concentrates on the Supreme.

One must deliver himself with the help of his mind, and not degrade himself. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul, and his enemy as well.

But, the mind is restless, turbulent, obstinate and very strong. To subdue it is more difficult than controlling wind. For one whose mind is unbridled, self realization is difficult work. But he whose mind is controlled and who strives by appropriate means is assured of success.

Therefore, strive to control your mind and you will find the most peaceful place.

In yogic system, there is an exercise called vipasyana. Learn about it.

Inside of you ... and walking around in the Smokey mountains does help when you are trying to find peace inside , I tried it , and it works, but your real peace is inside of you ... find it now ... It's there. Then go out for a walk and enjoy nature.

You can't help being yourself and if you have a reason, scream.

You can't help but spend time with yourself , and yourself is better than you think. OK.
