No, because I don't get that channel. But, I love South Park and would love to watch that episode. The writers know what they're doing... they know that people who will think it's funny will watch it, and they know that people who will think it's horrible will watch it. The old phrase "there's no such thing as bad publicity" comes to mind. And yeah, I do find it shocking, since he just died, and I was a huge fan of his. But still, it's South Park. That's what they do, and anyone who wasn't expecting that from them must not appreciate SP for it's true genius. I for one still adore South Park, and I always will.

I did watch the episode. I felt it was a little inappropriate to have him in the episode, but most of their episodes feature an issue or topic that is considered taboo. In the episode though, Trey Parker and Matt Stone call themselves on their actions to begin with by saying it was "too early" to be showing Steve Irwin, so they still have the last laugh. They knew it would be an issue and a hot topic, so they capitalized on the taboo by calling it before critics or viewers could. I think they are geniuses. There is a reason it is one of the most popular shows and has been on the air for ten years.

I am also from Australia and quite frankly it is very disrepectful what they did. Who ever wrote this story line , must be very sick in the head. I hope it gets banned all over the world. Steve's death was a tragedy to everyone.

I did not know they were doing one. I will have to keep an eye out. I don't think there would ever be a appropriate time to make fun of a person that was like him and that past like him. But that is what they do and they make alot more money then i do so they must be doing something right.

I did watch it but I had no idea that was going to be in there. It was never advertised that way. It was like 30 seconds of the joke but I thought it was wrong and too soon but it wasn't as distasteful as their other stuff. This is the kind of thing the show is known for.

It just goes to show the human race has sunk so low!!!

No. You can make fun of institutions and people who bring it on themselves (hello, Tom Cruise), but Steve was doing his job - saving the animals, one creature at a time. It's too tacky of them for words.

I will watch it because it will be funny. South Park has stepped it up these past 2 years, and it will be hilarious!

No. I think it is just sick, way to early in the grief stage to be making fun like that, very tasteless. I know that is what they are good at ,but come on. Just my opinion.
