I love this movie because it is such a beautiful tale. The fact that this man asked his two girls what he should write a book about, one said a princess and the other said a bride, he wrote such a tale, it's incredible. A regular classic! It will never die in wonder and beauty.
It is has "...fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles..." so that's why I love this movie! It's the greatest movie and tops my list.

It's beautiful, funny, and a classic romance in fairy tale times. I can quote practically the whole movie. I've been watching it for 20 years. And I've yet to run into someone who know the "My name is Inigo Montoya" quote or what an ROUS is. Too many good things about the movie. I had the theme song played at my wedding for a first dance.

I loveeeee that movie! It is so funny and romantic at the same time...a seemingly simple "fairytale" but multilayered and rich. Plus I too believe in happy endings! LOL

Its because it was a great movie when I was dating my hubby....15 years later we are still together and we still love to sit on the couch and snuggle up to a bowl of popcorn and watch the Princess Bride.

I love that movie. It has so many great elements to it .. so many quotable scenes. It is such a great theme ... or love and friendship. Good Luck ! :)
