I have two computers. The Arial Font looks different on them. Has anyone else noticed this on you computers? One looks more jagged and the other looks more smooth. i just noticed it tonight as I was looking at both my computers. It looks much smoother and much better on my older computer.

Most likely you have turned on the 'ClearType' option on the display properties of one of your monitors.

ClearType is only useful for LCD monitors, not CRTs. LCD monitors only look good when set the their native resolution though (usually 1024 X 768 and higher).

To change the ClearType options do the following:
1) Go to 'Display' under 'Control Panel'.
2) Go to the 'Appearance' tab.
3) Click on the 'Effects' button.
4) Select the 'method to smooth the edge of screen fonts' to your taste.

If you have an LCD make sure you set it to the native resolution. Check you monitor documentation.

The stretch thing happened a day or two ago but for about a week now I can't give TU to answers to my questions, I can't comment when I select BA, there is a light green bar across part of my screen that keeps me from being able to read some comments but the bar moves around from one question to another, I can't TU others comments and all the avatars are grey on the open question page. I thought it was just me.

Could be the resolution, the graphics card, the size of the monitor, ...

If you got different Os's then they have different Arial fonts.
