Well, the absolute location of Tehran is at 35°40′N 51°25′E.
The relative location of Tehran is in Iran between the city of Qom and the Caspian Sea at the foot of the Alborz mountain range at an elevation of 3900 feet (relative to the ocean level). On the world map, if you want to find it, look for Iran (which is bordered by the Persian Gulf, Kuwait, Iraq, Armenia, Azerbaijan, The Caspian Sea, Turkemanistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Then in Iran, look along the middle meridian line and halfway between the Caspian Sea (from above), Qom (from below), and the Iraninan borders from the left and the right.
